Welcome to The Pit Stopper. By accessing our premises, using our services, booking appointments, or interacting with our website and social media platforms, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. General Terms

The Pit Stopper provides motorcycle-related services including servicing, washing, detailing, paint protection film (PPF), pre-owned bike assistance, accessories, insurance claim support, and a rider-friendly café space. These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers, visitors, and users of our services.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

 

2. Service Scope & Limitations

All services provided by The Pit Stopper are limited to motorcycles only. We do not provide services for cars or other vehicles unless explicitly stated.

Services are carried out based on:

  • Customer consent
     

  • Visual inspection and stated requirements
     

  • Industry-standard practices
     

While we ensure professional handling and care, certain issues may arise due to pre-existing mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic conditions beyond our control.

 

3. Appointments & Walk-ins

  • Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • Walk-in services are accepted based on workload and time constraints.

  • Delays may occur due to unforeseen technical issues or workload volume.
     

The Pit Stopper reserves the right to reschedule or decline services if safety, technical feasibility, or operational limitations arise.

 

4. Pricing & Payments

​

  • All prices are communicated before service commencement.

  • Any additional work required will be informed and approved by the customer before proceeding.

  • Payments must be completed upon service completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • We reserve the right to revise pricing without prior notice.
     

No refunds will be issued once a service has been completed, except in cases deemed appropriate by management.

 

5. Vehicle Responsibility & Liability

Customers are advised to:

​

  • Remove personal belongings before handing over the motorcycle
     

  • Inform us of any existing damage or mechanical issues
     

The Pit Stopper is not responsible for:

​

  • Pre-existing damage
     

  • Wear and tear due to normal usage
     

  • Mechanical failures unrelated to the service performed
     

While all reasonable care is taken, The Pit Stopper shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

 

6. Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Detailing Disclaimer

​

  • PPF and detailing results depend on the motorcycle’s existing paint condition.
     

  • Minor imperfections, scratches, or paint defects may still be visible after application.
     

  • Longevity of PPF and detailing depends on maintenance, riding conditions, and environmental factors.
     

No guarantee is provided against accidental damage, impacts, or misuse after service completion.

 

7. Pre-Owned Bike Assistance

​

Any inspection or guidance provided for pre-owned motorcycles is based on visible and accessible checks at the time of inspection. The Pit Stopper does not guarantee future performance, mileage, or mechanical lifespan of pre-owned motorcycles.

Final purchase decisions remain solely the customer’s responsibility.

 

8. Insurance Claim Assistance

 

Insurance claim support is provided as an assistance service only. Approval, settlement, and timelines are subject to the respective insurance company’s policies and decisions. The Pit Stopper does not guarantee claim approval or settlement amounts.

 

9. Café & Premises Usage

​

  • Café and hangout spaces are provided for customer comfort.
     

  • Visitors must maintain respectful behavior toward staff and other customers.
     

  • Any damage to property caused by negligence or misconduct may be chargeable.
     

The Pit Stopper reserves the right to refuse service or access to individuals engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior.

 

10. Intellectual Property

​

All content, logos, branding, images, and media associated with The Pit Stopper (including website and social media content) are the property of The Pit Stopper and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

11. Photography & Media Consent

​

By visiting The Pit Stopper premises, customers consent to the possibility of photography or videography for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any content, please inform our staff in advance.

 

12. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in West Bengal.
